Unbelievable allegations have been made against Tesla and CEO Elon Musk. According to these allegations, the company overlooked some mistakes in marketing and selling its advanced driver assistance system. It even caused fatal accidents by being negligent for autopilot. Tesla and Musk will be sued.

A judge in the US state of Florida has reviewed the investigation into an autopilot crash. In the 2019 accident, the autopilot reportedly lost control and crashed into a wall, killing driver Jeremy Banner.

Banner’s family accuses Tesla of negligence and willful misuse of the autonomous driving system. He even claimed that the company was aware of the safety issues with the autopilot, but ignored them in order to sell it to more customers.

Judge Reid Scott ruled that Musk and other Tesla executives knew the autopilot was defective. Despite this, he drew attention to the sale of autonomous driving technology. He also cited the similarities of two accidents caused by the autopilot in 2019 and 2016.

Tesla and Musk have long been criticized for the autopilot’s capabilities. Claiming that autonomous driving was disabled in many accidents, the company stated that the accidents were caused by driver errors. Despite this, it is noteworthy that full autonomous driving has been advertised since 2016.

According to reports, there have been more than 700 accidents with autopilot since 2019, resulting in 17 fatalities. The judge claimed that Tesla marketed its autopilot as fully autonomous despite technological flaws. The case could lead to both fines and sanctions for the company.
